Society dictates that this is my day for receiving well wishes, cards, gifts, cakes, and parties. Well, I’m not one to simply go along with a “well this is the way we’ve always done it” sort of mentality.
Don’t get me wrong, I am certainly grateful and thankful that I have so many wonderful people in my life who wish well for me. But, to be honest, I am uncomfortable at times being the center of attention.
I’ve learned that I am more comfortable fitting OUT rather than fitting in.
On March 18, 2014, my life turned upside down. On March 19, 2014, I received the best gift I could have ever received: I woke up to meet a new day.
Every day that I wake up is: a gift and a reason to celebrate. Every day is my day!
The past two and half years have prepared me for this moment: To announce that I am ready to make a difference in this world. To give more than I receive. To help others who are lost, confused, frustrated, and scared.
I may not have all my ducks in a row, I may not have all my Ts crossed and I can’t see the whole staircase.
It has taken me 47 years to find my place in life, my purpose, and my God-given reason for being on this Earth.
I am taking the first step (up the daunting staircase). Right here. Right now. I am announcing that I am in the process of launching a new business/career/life-calling, etc.
The grand opening of: New England Health Coach is coming soon (no brick and mortar building – just a service.) I have some more Ts to cross.
I am ready to give the gift of hope to those who find themselves struggling in dark places of their health.
I will treasure each “gift” that I receive when I see the expressions of peace of mind, relief, and gratitude in my clients.
Be Kind. Be Thankful. Be Significant.
